Long story short...we had a customer order that was lost in transit over last year's holiday season. We gave the customer a full refund, filed a claim against the shipping company, but the product was never recovered. Our customer had stated that the item she ordered was to replace the one she received as a gift from a past family member. We had promised her first opportunity to purchase if the item was ever returned. We fought for months with the shipping company to no avail. So, we turned our focus on finding another one exactly like the one that was lost. This was not going to be an easy task, because the item was not a common item. We searched and searched, after almost one year we found one! We notified our customer, offering first opportunity as promised. Our customer was excited to hear we had one and purchased it on the spot. Here is a partial message that was send to us:
